Shenton had the honour of portraying Louis Armstrong in an episode of Miss Marple, performing alongside soul sensation Mica Paris, who played Amelia Walker in At Bertram’s Hotel.
He was also specifically chosen to perform at the launch of Virgin Atlantic’s inaugural direct flight from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Many people will also recognise his unmistakable voice from the VO5 television commercial singing Jeepers Creepers.
