A versatile vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and entertainer, Shenton has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s finest live performers — delivering captivating performances that capture the spirit, sound and charisma of music’s greatest icons.
An accomplished musician, Shenton performs piano, keyboards, guitar, harmonica and trumpet. He has also served as Musical Director for several gospel choirs, demonstrating his outstanding musical talent both on and off the stage.
His distinguished career has seen him perform alongside Motown legend the late Edwin Starr in the original Dancing in the Streets musical, and share the stage with Jaki Graham and The Pasadenas. He starred in the internationally acclaimed West End production of Buddy, originating the role of the Apollo performer — and was invited back to co-write “I’m Gonna Party” with the show’s late Musical Director, Paul Jury.

BEYOND SOUL
His versatility extends far beyond soul music.
Shenton also delivers acclaimed tributes to other legendary performers, including Elvis Presley. Encouraged by his former lookalike agent, Susan Scott — a devoted Elvis fan — Shenton successfully auditioned for a Kodak television commercial. After showcasing Elvis’s signature moves and unmistakable mannerisms, the producers knew they had found the perfect performer for the role.
More recently, Shenton appeared on the KSI Lookalike Show, where his portrayal of Stevie Wonder earned a perfect 10 out of 10 from KSI, who declared: “Honestly, you’re incredible.”
As an accomplished stage and screen actor, he has also appeared in the BBC’s EastEnders, where he had the unique honour of portraying the mysterious and elusive “Fat Elvis”.
